Meanwhile, back at the ranch…. Excuse me, but haven't we gotten a little sidetracked here? One minute we're bombing the snot out of Afghanistan, trying to wipe out the SAUDI terrorist organization that whacked the World Trade Center (Duh!), and the next thing you know we're "liberating" Iraq (into the stone age). Note: In spite of efforts by the Bush administration to obfuscate the issue, Osama bin Laden and fifteen of the nineteen terrorists that did the World Trade Center (etc.) gig are/were from Saudi Arabia. Strange, I don't seem to remember people sitting around in the aftermath of the attack on the World Trade Center talking about how nice it would be to liberate Iraq. There were quite a lot who advocated liberating all of Islam from "this mortal coil," but nothing about liberating the Iraqi people from their yoke of oppression, yada, yada, yada. As a matter of fact, I don't think it ever even came up until George "Support Your Local Military-Industrial Complex" Bush started pontificating about it. Yo, George! If you really want to free people from the yoke of oppression, or whatever, why don't we do the Chinese next? And, not that miserable facsimile thereof on Taiwan, either, I'm talking the "Godless Yellow Horde of Commies" variety. You can liberate a billion, or so, in one crack there, and they've been suffering, etc., etc., a lot longer than the Iraqis have. I mean, this isn't the kind of deal where we only "liberate" miserable little third-world countries that don't stand a chance against us, is it? We're not, like, afraid of China, are we? Personally, however, I think we should get back to the business at hand - wiping out as much of "Islam" as it takes to get things back to the way they were before September 11, 2001. Let's get on with this thing so that we can dispose of the "Homeland Gestapo" (Department of Homeland Security), repeal that despicable so-called "Patriot Act" and shorten those lines at the airport(s). After all, any true patriot knows that the way to keep us safe from the threat of Islamic terrorism is not to turn America into a police state, but to kill the enemy.
